The Monnow Room is situated at the front of the building on the ground floor.
It is especially easy to access, having its own door onto the courtyard via 2 steps, or via the lobby and main entrance (wheelchair accessible). The room has been transformed by a window looking onto St Thomas’ Square and old Monnow Bridge. More framed windows overlook the courtyard, bringing in natural light.
It has an exhibition rail and spotlights.
Toilets are just outside the Monnow Room in the main lobby.
There is no immediate access to the kitchen, though arrangements can be agreed to provide a kettle and tray for refreshments if needed.
The Monnow Room may be ideal for small groups to meet downstairs. It can seat up to 16 people.
